Vers | English: Douay-Rheims | English: King James Version |
| Unto the end, for the sons of Core. | God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. |
| O clap your hands, all ye nations: shout unto God with the voice of Joy, | Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; |
| For the Lord is high, terrible: a great king over all the earth. | Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. |
| He hath subdued the people under us; and the nations under our feet. | There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. |
| He hath chosen for us his inheritance the beauty of Jacob which he hath loved. | God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. |
| God is ascended with jubilee, and the Lord with the sound of trumpet. | The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. |
| Sing praises to our God, sing ye: sing praises to our king, sing ye. | The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. |
| For God is the king of all the earth: sing ye wisely. | Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. |
| God shall reign over the nations: God sitteth on his holy throne. | He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. |
| The princes of the people are gathered together, with the God of Abraham: for the strong gods of the earth are exceedingly exalted. | Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. |
| The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. |
