| 1 | Seda rääkis Jeesus ja tõstis Oma silmad taeva poole ning ütles: „Isa, tund on tulnud! Austa Oma Poega, et ka Poeg austaks Sind, | These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: |
| 2 | nagu Sa oled Temale annud meelevalla kõige liha üle, et Ta annaks igavese elu kõigile, kelled Sina oled Temale annud! | As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. |
| 3 | Aga see on igavene elu, et nad tunneksid Sind, ainust tõelist Jumalat ja Jeesust Kristust, kelle Sina oled läkitanud. | And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. |
