yenna i iqeddacen-is : D Yeḥya aɣeṭṭas ! D nețța i-d iḥyan si ger lmegtin, daymi i gesɛa tazmert s wayes ixeddem lbeṛhanat. And said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.
D agellid Hiṛudus i gefkan yakan lameṛ ad qnen Yeḥya s ssnasel, a t-rren ɣer lḥebs. Ayagi ɣef sebba n Hiṛudyad, tameṭṭut n Filibus yellan d gma-s n Hiṛudus. For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife.
Axaṭer Yeḥya yella yeqqaṛ i Hiṛudus : D leḥṛam fell-ak aț-țesɛuḍ Hiṛudyad ț-țameṭṭut-ik ! For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her.
Seg imiren, Hiṛudus ițqellib ad ineɣ Yeḥya, meɛna ikukra agdud n wat Isṛail axaṭer ḥesben-t akk d nnbi. And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.
Ass n lɛid n umulli n Hiṛudus, yelli-s n Hiṛudyad tecḍeḥ zdat inebgawen, teɛǧeb-as aṭas i Hiṛudus, But when Herod's birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod.
armi i s-iɛuhed, a s-yefk ayen ara s-d tessuter. Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask.
Tweṣṣa-ț yemma-s a s-tini : Awi-yi-d ɣer dagi aqeṛṛuy n Yeḥya aɣeṭṭas deg uḍebsi. And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger.
Agellid Hiṛudus iḥzen aṭas, yemmuɣben, lameɛna ɣef ddemma n limin i geggul zdat inebgawen-is, issendeh a s-t-id-awin. And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath's sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.
Iceggeɛ a s-d-gezmen aqeṛṛuy i Yeḥya aɣeṭṭas di lḥebs ; And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.
wwin-as-t-id i teqcict-nni deg uḍebsi, nețțat tefka-t i yemma-s. And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.
Inelmaden n Yeḥya usan-d ad awin lǧețța-s iwakken a ț-meḍlen ; imiren ṛuḥen ssawḍen-as lexbaṛ i Sidna Ɛisa. And his disciples came, and took up the body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus.
Mi gesla s lexbaṛ n lmut n Yeḥya, Sidna Ɛisa yuli ɣer teflukt, iṛuḥ iwakken ad iḍeṛṛef iman-is. Akken slan lɣaci s wemkan i ɣer iteddu, ffɣen-d si tudrin, tebɛen-t ɣef wuḍar. When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.
Sidna Ɛisa yers-ed si teflukt, iwala annect-nni n lɣaci, dɣa gezmen tasa-s ; ibda yesseḥlay imuḍan-nsen. And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.
Mi geɣli yiṭij, inelmaden n Sidna Ɛisa qeṛṛben ɣuṛ-es, nnan-as : Amkan-agi yexla yerna iṛuḥ lḥal ; ini-yasen i lɣaci-yagi ad ṛuḥen ɣer tudrin iwakken a d-aɣen ayen ara ččen. And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.
Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yasen : Acuɣeṛ ara ṛuḥen, fket-asen kunwi ad ččen ! But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.
Nnan-as : Ɣuṛ-nneɣ anagar xemsa teḥbulin n weɣṛum, d sin iselman ( iḥutiwen ). And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.
Yerra-yasen : Awit-țen-id ɣer dagi ! He said, Bring them hither to me.
Yenna i lɣaci ad qqimen ɣef leḥcic, iddem-ed xemsa teḥbulin-nni n weɣṛum d sin iselman-nni, yerfed allen-is ɣer igenni, iḥmed Ṛebbi. YYebḍa aɣṛum-nni, yefka-t i inelmaden-is, feṛqen-t i lɣaci. And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
Sčan akk armi ṛwan, yerna inelmaden-is ččuṛen-d tnac iqecwalen n wayen i d-yegran. And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.
Ad ilin azal n xemsa alaf n yergazen i geččan, mbla tilawin d warrac. And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.
Imiren kan, Sidna Ɛisa iḥṛes inelmaden-is ad alin ɣer teflukt iwakken ad zwiren ɣer rrif nniḍen n lebḥeṛ, ma d nețța ad yerr lɣaci-nni. And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.
Mi ṛuḥen akk lɣaci-nni, yuli weḥd-es ɣer wedrar iwakken ad iẓẓall, dɣa yeɣli-d yiḍ. And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.
Taflukt-nni tella di tlemmast n lebḥeṛ, lemwaji kkatent-eț axaṭer aḍu iqubel-iten-id. But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.
Mi qṛib ad yali wass, ataya Sidna Ɛisa iteddu-d ɣef wuḍar s ufella n waman. And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.
Akken i t-walan ileḥḥu ɣef waman, inelmaden-is xelɛen qqaṛen : D lexyal ! BBdan țɛeggiḍen s lxuf. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
Meɛna imiren kan Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yasen-d : Ur xellɛet ara, d nekk ! Ur țțaggadet ara ! But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
Dɣa Buṭrus yenna-yas : A Sidi, ma yella d keččini, efk-ed lameṛ a n-aseɣ ɣuṛ-ek ɣef wuḍar s ufella n waman. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.
Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yas : As-ed ! BBuṭrus yers-ed si teflukt, ileḥḥu ɣef waman, iteddu ɣer Sidna Ɛisa. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
Meɛna mi gwala yekker-ed waḍu, ikcem-it lxuf, yebda izedder, dɣa iɛeggeḍ : A Sidi, sellek-iyi ! But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
Imiren kan, Sidna Ɛisa yeḍleq afus-is, ijbed-it-id yenna-yas : A win iwumi ixuṣṣ liman ! Acuɣeṛ i k-ikcem ccekk ? And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
Ulin ɣer teflukt di sin, dɣa yers waḍu-nni. And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
Inelmaden-nni yellan di teflukt seǧǧden zdat Sidna Ɛisa nnan-as : Ț-țideț, d kečč i d Mmi-s n Ṛebbi ! Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.
Zegren lebḥeṛ-nni, armi wwḍen ɣer tmurt n Jiniṣaret. And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret.
Imezdaɣ n lǧiha nni ɛeqlen Sidna Ɛisa, dɣa ceggɛen ɣer yal lǧiha n tmurt, wwin-as-d imuḍan nsen meṛṛa. And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased;
Ḥellelen-t iwakken a ten-yeǧǧ ad nalen ɣas ula ț-țacḍaṭ uqenduṛ-is. Wid akk i t-innulen, ḥlan. And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.
