Vers Kabyle: NT English: King James Version
2 Imsefham yid-sen a ten-ixelleṣ s twizeț n lfeṭṭa i wass, dɣa iceggeɛ-iten ɣer tfeṛṛant-is. And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
3 Iffeɣ daɣen ɣef țesɛa n ṣṣbeḥ, iwala wiyaḍ qqimen di beṛṛa mbla lxedma. And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
4 yenna-yasen : Ṛuḥet ula d kunwi aț-țxedmem di tfeṛṛant-iw, a wen-fkeɣ ayen tuklalem. And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
5 Dɣa ṛuḥen. Bab n tfeṛṛant-nni yexdem akken daɣen ɣef tnac n wass akk-d ț-țlata n tmeddit. Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
6 Iffeɣ daɣen ɣef lxemsa n tmeddit, yufa wiyaḍ qqimen di beṛṛa yenna-yasen : Acuɣeṛ i tețɣimim ass kamel mbla lxedma ? And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
7 Nnan-as-ed : Ulac win i ɣ-d-ifkan lxedma ! YYenna-yasen : Ṛuḥet ula d kunwi aț-țxedmem di tfeṛṛant-iw ! They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.
8 Mi i d-tewweḍ tmeddit, bab n tfeṛṛant yenna i lewkil-is : Ssiwel i ixeddamen txellseḍ-ten yiwen yiwen. Zwir seg ineggura tessegriḍ imezwura. So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.
9 Usan-d wid yebdan lxedma ɣef lxemsa n tmeddit, ixelleṣ-iten s ssuma n yiwen wass, And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.
10 mi i d-tewweḍ nnuba n wid ibdan lxedma ɣef țesɛa n ṣṣbeḥ, ɣilen ad țwaxelṣen akteṛ n wiyaḍ, meɛna ula d nutni țwaxellṣen s ssuma n yiwen wass. But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.
11 Mi ṭṭfen lexlaṣ-nsen, iɣaḍ-iten lḥal, nnan i bab n tfeṛṛant-nni : And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
12 Ixeddamen-agi ineggura xedmen yiwet n ssaɛa kan, txellṣeḍ ten am nukkni yenɛețțaben ass kamel i wezɣal ? Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.
13 Meɛna yerra-yas i yiwen seg sen : Ay amdakkel, acuɣeṛ i k-iɣaḍ lḥal ? Eɛni ur nemsefham ara ɣef lexlaṣ-nwen ad yili tawizeț n lfeṭṭa d ssuma n yiwen wass ? But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
14 Awi lḥeqq-ik tṛuḥeḍ. I ma yella bɣiɣ ad fkeɣ i uneggaru annect i k-fkiɣ i kečč ? Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
15 Eɛni ur zmireɣ ara ad xedmeɣ akken bɣiɣ s idrimen-iw ? Neɣ iɣaḍ-ik lḥal imi ur lliɣ ara d amecḥaḥ ? Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
16 S wakka aṭas ineggura ara yuɣalen d imezwura, aṭas n imezwura ara yuɣalen d ineggura. So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
17 Mi țeddun ad alin ɣer temdint n Lquds, Sidna Ɛisa iṭṭef tnac-nni inelmaden-is weḥḥed-sen, yenna yasen : And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them,
18 Ḥesset-ed : atan a nali ɣer temdint n Lquds, anda ara ițțusellem Mmi-s n bunadem ger ifassen n lmuqedmin imeqqranen akk-d lɛulama n ccariɛa. Ad ḥekmen fell-as s lmut, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,
19 yerna a t-sellmen ger ifassen nn ikafriwen iwakken ad stehzin fell-as, a t-jelkḍen ( a t-cellṭen ), a t-semmṛen ɣef wumidag, ass wis tlata a d-iḥyu si ger lmegtin. And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.
20 Imiren yemma-s n Yeɛqub d Yuḥenna, arraw n Zabadi, tqeṛṛeb-ed ɣer Sidna Ɛisa nețțat d warraw-is, tseǧǧed ɣer iḍaṛṛen-is. Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.
21 Sidna Ɛisa yenna-yas : D acu i tebɣiḍ ? Tenna-yas : Di leɛnaya-k a Sidi, efk-asen imukan i sin-agi n warraw-iw di tgelda-inek, iwakken ad qqimen wa ɣer uyeffus-ik, wa ɣer uzelmaḍ-ik. And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.
22 Sidna Ɛisa yerra-yasen : Ur teẓrim ara ayen akka i d tessutrem ! Eɛni tzemrem aț-țeswem si tbuqalt-agi n lemṛaṛ ara sweɣ ? NNnan-as : Ih a Sidi, nezmer ! But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
23 Yerra-yasen : Ț-țideț, aț-țeswem si tbuqalt-agi, meɛna ɣef wayen yeɛnan imukan ɣer tama-w tayeffust neɣ tazelmaṭ, mačči d nekk ara ten-ifken, ad țțunefken i wid iwumi i ten-ihegga Baba Ṛebbi. And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of
24 Ɛecṛa n inelmaden-nni mi slan ayagi, ikcem-iten zzɛaf ɣef ddemma n sin-nni watmaten. And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.
25 Sidna Ɛisa yessawel-asen, yenna-yasen : Walit igelliden n yegduden nniḍen akk-d imeqqranen-nsen amek ḥeṛsen yerna ḥeqṛen lɣaci-nsen ! But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.
26 Ur ilaq ara ad yili wannect-agi gar-awen. Ma yella yiwen seg-wen yebɣa ad yuɣal d ameqqran, ilaq ad yili d aqeddac-nwen. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
27 Akken daɣen, win yebɣan ad yili d amezwaru, ilaq ad yuɣal d akli-nwen. And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
28 Daymi Mmi-s n bunadem ur d-yusi ara iwakken ad qedcen fell-as, meɛna yusa-d iwakken ad yili d aqeddac, yerna ad isebbel tudert-is iwakken ad isellek aṭas n yemdanen. Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
29 Mi d-ffɣen si temdint n Yiriku, aṭas n lɣaci i d-iḍefṛen Sidna Ɛisa. And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.
30 Llan sin iderɣalen qqimen rrif n webrid, mi slan belli d Sidna Ɛisa i d-iɛeddan bdan țɛeggiḍen : A Sidi ! A mmi-s n Sidna Dawed ! Ḥunn fell-aɣ ! And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.
31 Lɣaci-nni țlumun-ten, qqaṛen asen ad ssusmen, ma d nutni țkemmilen leɛyaḍ : Ḥunn fell-aɣ a Sidi, a mmi-s n Sidna Dawed ! And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.
32 Sidna Ɛisa iḥbes, issawel-asen, yenna-yasen : D acu i tebɣam a wen-t- xedmeɣ ? And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?
33 Rran-as : Nebɣa a ɣ-d-yuɣal yeẓri a Sidi ! They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.
34 Ɣaḍen aṭas Sidna Ɛisa, yennul allen-nsen, imiren kan yuɣal-iten-id yeẓri, dɣa ddan yid-es. So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.
