Vers Kabyle: NT English: King James Version
1 Si zik llan lenbiya n lekdeb ger lɣaci, akken daɣen ara d-kkren gar-awen wid ara kkun-iɣuṛṛen s uselmed-nsen. A d-skecmen tamusni-nsen n lekdeb d usexṛeb, ad nekṛen ula d amsellek i ten-id-icufɛen ; s wakka ara d-sseɣlin ɣef yiman-nsen But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 Ɣas akken ffɣen i webrid, aṭas ara ten-iḍefṛen, ɣef ddemma-nsen ara ițwargem webrid n tideț ; And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3 a ten-yawi ṭṭmeɛ, a wen kellxen s imeslayen n lekdeb ; meɛna nnger-nsen ur ițɛeṭṭil ara, tawaɣit tețṛaǧu-ten. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
4 Teẓram belli Sidi Ṛebbi ur iḥunn ara ɣef lmalayekkat yeffɣen i webrid, meɛna iḍeggeṛ-iten ɣer tesraft lqayen n ṭṭlam anda țwaqnent, țṛaǧunt lḥisab. For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
5 Ur iḥunn ara daɣen ɣef yemdanen n zzman aqdim asm' akken i sen-d iceggeɛ lḥemla n waman i lɣaci amcum ; issemneɛ seg-sen anagar Sidna Nuḥ ițbecciṛen lḥeqq n Sidi Ṛebbi, akk-d sebɛa n yemdanen yid-es. And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
6 Iɛuqeb timdinin n Sudum d Gumuṛ, issenger-itent, isxeḍ-itent s tmes, yerra-tent d iɣed ; ifka-d ayagi d lemtel i yemcumen iwakken ad ẓren d acu i ten-ițṛaǧun. And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
7 Issemneɛ anagar Luṭ yellan d aḥeqqi, yemmuɣbnen ɣef yir lecɣal n lɣaci amcum yellan di zzman-is. And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
8 Argaz-agi aḥeqqi ițɛicin gar-asen, itețț-it wul-is ɣef ayen i gsell d wayen țwalint wallen-is yal ass, ɣef yir tikli nsen d yir lecɣal-nsen. (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
9 S wakka Sidi Ṛebbi yeẓra amek ara isellek di teswiɛin iweɛṛen imdanen i gțeklen fell-as ; ma d imcumen a ten-yerr ɣer rrif i lɛiqab i d-iteddun ass n lḥisab. The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
10 Ad iɛaqeb widak-nni i gxeddmen lefsad, ițnadin anagar lebɣi n tnefsit-nsen, imi ur țțaken ara lqima i lhiba n Sidi Ṛebbi. Ur țqadaṛen ara, qebbḥen, ur uggaden ara ad regmen ula d lmalayekkat. But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
11 Ma d lmalayekkat yesɛan lqeḍra ț-țezmert sennig wid yesselmaden lekdeb, ur sen-țarrant ara rregmat zdat Sidi Ṛebbi. Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.
12 Meɛna imdanen-agi țɛicin am lmal n lexla, lhan kan i ṣṣyada, ur țxemmimen ara, reggmen ayen ur ssinen ; ad ɣlin di tesraft n ddnubat nsen, ad mmuṛdsen akken ițmuṛdus lmal. But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
13 D lbaṭel zerɛen ara d-megren, țțafen lfeṛḥ-nsen mi xeddmen ɛinani lebɣi n tnefsit-nsen. Sčuṛen d lɛib akk-d lḥecma, yerna m' ara qqimen yid-wen ɣer lmakla, ur țsetḥin ara s lehduṛ-nsen d ukellex-nsen. And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
14 Sṭamaɛen anagar yir tilawin iwakken ad znun yid-sent ; ur ɛeggun ara di ddnubat i xeddmen, țɣuṛṛun imdanen ur neǧhid ara di liman, ččuṛen d ṭṭmeɛ, ț-țarwa n deɛwessu. Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
15 Sǧan abrid n lewqam, ɛeṛqen mi tebɛen abrid i gewwi Belɛam mmi-s n Biɛuṛ i gḥemmlen ad yerbeḥ idrimen s lexdeɛ. Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
16 Lameɛna iḥeccem-it Sidi Ṛebbi, mi d-issenṭeq ɣuṛ-es taɣyult tagugamt s ṣṣut n wemdan ; s wakka i t-iḥbes, iwakken ur ițkemmil ara di yir ccɣel-is. But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
17 Imdanen-agi am tliwa iqquṛen, am usigna y These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
21 Axiṛ-asen i yemdanen-agi lemmer ur ssinen ara abrid n lḥeqq, wala imi i t-ssnen uɣalen ṭṭaxṛen i lameṛ iqedsen i sen-d-ițțucegɛen s ɣuṛ Sidi Ṛebbi. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
22 Yedṛa yid-sen am akken yella di lemtul : Ițțuɣal weqjun ɣer iriran-is ; qqaṛen daɣen : Ilef iwumi ssarden, yuɣal imiren kan ad ixnunes deg waluḍ. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
