| 1 | Jotham was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Jerushah, the daughter of Zadok. | ယောသံသည် အသက်နှစ်ဆယ်ငါးနှစ်ရှိသော်၊ နန်းထိုင်၍ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့၌ တဆယ်ခြောက်နှစ် စိုးစံ လေ၏။ မယ်တော်ကား၊ ဇာဒုတ်သမီးယေရုရှာအမည် ရှိ၏။ |
| 2 | And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Uzziah did: howbeit he entered not into the temple of the LORD. And the people did yet corruptly. | ထိုမင်းသည်ခမည်းတော် ဩဇိကျင့်သမျှအတိုင်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရားရှေ့တော်၌ တရားသောအမှုကိုပြု၏။ သို့ရာတွင် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ဗိမာန်တော်ထဲသို့မဝင်။ ပြည်သူပြည်သားတို့သည် မတရားသဖြင့် ပြုကြသေး၏။ |
| 3 | He built the high gate of the house of the LORD, and on the wall of Ophel he built much. | ထိုမင်းသည် ဗိမာန်တော်အထက်တံခါးကို လုပ်၍၊ ဩဖေလမြို့ရိုးကို အလွန်ခိုင်ခံ့စေ၏။ |
| 4 | Moreover he built cities in the mountains of Judah, and in the forests he built castles and towers. | ယုဒတောင်ရိုးပေါ်မှာ မြို့များကို၎င်း၊ တော၌ ရဲတိုက်များနှင့် ပြအိုးများကို၎င်း တည်ထောင်လေ၏။ |

| 7 | Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all his wars, and his ways, lo, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah. | ယောသံပြုမူသောအမှုအရာ ကြွင်းလေသမျှ၊ စစ်တိုက်ခြင်းအ ကျင့်ကျင့်ခြင်းအမှုအရာ အလုံးစုံတို့ သည်၊ ဣသရေလရာဇဝင်နှင့် ယုဒရာဇဝင်၌ ရေးထား လျက် ရှိ၏။ |
