| 1 | O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; | အိုဘုရားသခင်၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်၏ ဘုရားသခင် ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်ကို ကြိုးစား၍ ရှာပါ၏။ ရေမရှိသွေ့ခြောက်သော လွင်ပြင်၌ အကျွန်ုပ်၏ဝိညာဉ်သည် ကိုယ်တော်ကို ငတ်ပါ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်၏ ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာသည်လည်း ကိုယ်တော်ကို လွမ်းဆွတ်ပါ၏။ |
| 2 | To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. | ဘုန်းတန်ခိုးအာနုဘော်တော်ကို မြင်ခြင်းငှါ၊ သန့်ရှင်းရာဌာနတော်၌ ထိုသို့ ကိုယ်တော်ကို ဖူးမျှော်ပါပြီ။ |
| 3 | Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. | ကရုဏာတော်သည် အသက်ထက်သာ၍ ကောင်းသောကြောင့်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်၏နှုတ်သည် ကိုယ်တော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းရပါမည်။ |

| 8 | My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me. | အကျွန်ုပ်အသက်ကို ဖျက်ဆီးခြင်းငှါ ရှာသော သူတို့သည် မြေကြီးအောက်အရပ်သို့ ဆင်းရကြမည်။ ထားဘေးဖြင့် ဆုံး၍၊ မြေခွေးစားရန် ဖြစ်ရကြလိမ့်မည်။ |
