Vers English: King James Version Tamajaq Portions
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. Amaran wa d-iggazan s əmi n afarag, wədi ənta a imosan amadan n ayfəd.
To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. Ənaɣlif n afarag a z' aləman imi, əssəsəmnat ayfəd y əməsli n amadan, ad iɣarru šin-net s esmawan-nasnat isardaq-qanat afarag.
And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. As d-iɣrad ikus ən šin-net, a dasnat-izar, təzzar əlkəmnat-as, fəlas əzdaynat əməsli-net.
And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. As ig'awen awedan wa dasnat-imosan ənaftaɣ, wər das-z-əlkəmnat, ewef fadda tu-z-aginat fəlas wər əzdaynat əməsli-net.»
This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them. Əlmital wa da dasan-iga Ɣaysa, mišan wər əgren almaɣna n awa daɣ imməgrad da.
Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. Ilas Ɣaysa inn-asan: «Əggəyyeɣ əsilakanaɣ-awan as nak a imosan imi w'as raddaɣnat ayfəd.
All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. Win dat-i d-osanen kul ibaydagan ən jujab ən zənga a mosan amaran wər dasan-əssəsamnat ayfəd.
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. Nak a imosan imi. Wa sər-i d-iggazan ad afsu. Ifrag ad itaggaz iraddaɣ, igrəw əntada imensewan-net.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Abaydag wər d-itisu ar fəl šikra, d igi ən man d əhluk. Nak amaran ose-du fəl ad əgrəwan aytedan təməddurt, əgrəwan-tat da za əs təməwit wər nəla əddukad.
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. Nak a imosan amadan wa olaɣan. Amadan wa olaɣan iman-net a isamalkaw fəl ayfəd-net.
But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. Mišan awedan was ətəwəɣfar a iga fəl ad idən ayfəd, wər tanat-ila, wədi as ogga əridal izay-tanat-du, ad addaggag ayy-enat-in, təzzar abəz daɣ-asnat əridal awa ira, izəwwəziwəz-tanat.
The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. Arat wa itagg-ay aləs wa fəlas ətəwəɣfar a iga y əššəɣəl wa, wər izlay a əganat ayfəd.
I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. Nak a imosan amadan wa olaɣan. Əzdayaɣ ayfəd-in, ayfəd-in deɣ əzdaynat-i,
As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. zun əmmək was di-izday Abba-nin, d əmmək was t-əzdaya nak da. Iman-in simalkawaq-qan fəl ayfəd-in.
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. Əleɣ ayfəd šiyyad əntada wər nəha afarag wa. Əntanatay da kundaba azzaraɣ-asnat. Ad aslinat y əməsli-nin, əqqəlnat əsəgən iyyanda ilan amadan iyyanda.
Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. Abba ir-i fəlas iman-in a sammalkawa fəl a tan-ələsaɣ agaraw.
No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. Wər t-illa i daɣ-i z'abəzan iman, kalar iman-in a sammalkawaɣ əs təradawt-in. Əleɣ fərregat n əsəmməlkəw-nasan, əleɣ da fərregat n agaraw-nasan tolas. Ənta da daɣ arat was di-omar Abba-nin s igi-net.»
There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings. Ilas ades ən Kəl-Əlyəhud əməzrəy daɣ talɣa n aratan win igannu da.
And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him? A daɣ-san aggen gannin: «Aləs wa aggəsuf a t-izdaɣan! Awa əmeskel! Mafel təssisamam-as?»
Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind? Wiyyad gannin: «Awedan izdaɣ aggəsuf wər itəggu awal olan d awa. Tordam as ill-ay aggəsuf ifragan əsəswəd ən məddərɣal?»
And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter. Azzaman en tagrəst, ewad-du əmud ən saktan n ətəwəzəzdag n Ahan ən Məššina daɣ Yerusalam.
And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. Itijəwənkit Ɣaysa daɣ Ahan ən Məššina daɣ tarrayt təfalat as itawannu «ta n Suliman.»
Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. Ɣilayɣalayan-tu Kəl-Əlyəhud win əllanen den gannin-as: «Kay ak har əmmay wər dana-tore daɣ aɣaf? Kud kay Əlməsix a təmosa, təzəluləɣa-du tannaɣ-anaq-qu.»
Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. Inn-asan Ɣaysa: «Ənneɣ-awan-tu, mišan wər di-təzzəgzanam. Imazalan win əge s esəm n Abba-nin, əggəyyen-i.
But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. Mišan wər di-təzzəgzanam fəlas wər tətabaqqem daɣ ayfəd-in.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: Ayfəd-in əsallinat y əməsli-nin, əzdayaq-qanat, amaran əlkamnat-i.
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. Əkfeq-qanat təməddurt təɣlalat, wər ilkem ad oxsaynat, amaran wər t-illa i tanat-z-irkəban daɣ əfus-in.
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. Abba-nin wa di-tanat-ikfan, ogar i t-illan kul təzzəwərt. Amaran wər t-illa i tanat-z-irkəban daɣ əfus n Abba.
I and my Father are one. Nak d Abba arat iyyanda a nəmos.»
Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Əlasan-du sər-əs adakal ən təhun y ad t-anɣin.
Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? Ilas Ɣaysa inn-asan: «Əssiknaq-qawan imazalan aggotnen olaɣnen a d-əfalnen Abba. Məni daɣ-san wa fəl taram a di-tanɣim?»
The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. Ənnan-as: «Nakkanay wər nəra tenaɣay-nak fəl as təgeɣ əmazal olaɣan, kalar əmadraw wa təgeɣ əddi a fəl kay za nanɣu. Kay wər təmosaɣ ar aggadəm amaran tareɣ ad tagaɣ iman-nak Məššina.»
Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? Inn-asan Ɣaysa: «Ak əlqanun-nawan wərgeɣ iktâb daɣ-as as inna Məššina: "kawanay təmosam məššinatan"?
If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Wər nəfreg a din-nəgər arat wa ihan Ikətban. Esəm wa n məššinatan, iɣra sər-əs Məššina aytedan win təkka batu ta iga da.
Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? Nak Məššina di-isannafranan izammazal-i-du s əddənet. Manəmmək daɣ adi as za tannim taggaɣ əmadraw fəl as ənne: "Əmosa Barar ən Məššina"?
If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. As imos as wər təggaɣ imazalan win as di-d-issəgla Abba-nin y a tan-aga, a di-wər-təzzəgzənam.
But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. Mišan dad imos as taggaq-qan, wədi kud sər-i wər təzzəgzanam da, zəgzənat kuddeɣ əs mazalan win tagga, fəl ad təssənam, tassantim əntada əgərri n as Abba irtay dər-i, nak deɣ ərtaya d Abba.»
Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand, Əlasan agamay d abbaz-net, mišan ya igmad-tan.
And went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode. Ilas Ɣaysa iki ən təgadamayt ta hadat ən Yordan, daɣ adag wa daɣ issənta Yaxya əsəlməɣ n aytedan daɣ aman, təzzar iqqim den da.
And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true. Osan-t-in aytedan aggotnen, gannin: «Yaxya wər iga alɣalamat waliyyat, mišan aratan kul win danaɣ-inna s aləs wa, əmosan tidət.»
And many believed on him there. Den daɣ ad əzzəgzanan aytedan aggotnen əs Ɣaysa.
