Vers English: King James Version Tamajaq Portions
Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.
There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him. As din-osa Ɣaysa tawaggan-as məgura olaɣnen; tətaway-du Marta imensewan amaran Lazarəs iha aytedan win naɣamanen əd Ɣaysa ədrawan dər-əs.
Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment. Təzzar tobaz-du Maryama aganna ən litər n alwardi iyyan ilan almaqam, izzəwat wəllen, tənɣal-tu fəl daran ən Ɣaysa təzway-asan-tu, təzzar təmas-tan əs jəkkad-net, idnay ahan wa adu n alwardi.
Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him, Inkar Yahuza Isxarəyuti wa n iyyan daɣ nalkiman ən Ɣaysa was ənta tu-z-agin daɣ fassan inna:
Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? «Mafel wər din nəzzənza alwardi wa nabəz-du daɣ-as azrəf ən karadat təmad n əzəl n əššəɣəl nakf-ay i tələqqawen?»
This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein. Arat wa wər t-inna fəl təhanint ən tələqqawen, kalar abaydag a imos, amaran ənta a ittafan əsəgrəs wa itaggaz əzrəf, idakkal awa t-ihan.
Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this. Eges ya inna Ɣaysa: «Ayy-et! Alwardi wa kala da togaz-tu y əzəl wa n ətəwənbal-in.
For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always. Šiləqqawen faw da təddewam dər-əsnat, nak amaran wərgeɣ faw əlle ɣur-wan.»
Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead. Təsla tiddawat tagget ən Kəl-Əlyəhud as illa Ɣaysa den təzzar osan-in ehan wen, mišan wərge Ɣaysa ɣas din-əkkan, kalar awnaf a tan-ihan ən Lazarəs wa d-issənkar daɣ nəməttan.
But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death; Təzzar əssərdaɣan-du limaman win zawwarnen tanat n ad anɣin Lazarəs ənta da,
Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus. fəlas əddəlil-net a fəl dəffər-san əfalan Kəl-Əlyəhud aggotnen əzzəgzanan əs Ɣaysa.
On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, As affaw əslan aytedan aggotnen a d-əkkanen amud, as Ɣaysa iggaz-du aɣrəm wa n Yerusalam.
Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord. Ədkalan-du izəlan ən təlazdaq təzzar əglan əlkadan-as saɣaren gannin: «Hosanna! Təgrəwaɣet albaraka, kay a d-osan s esəm n Əməli, kay əmənokal n Israyil!»
And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written, Igraw Ɣaysa əhulel, iwan-tu, s asaway was iha awen Akatab wa innan:
Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt. «Ad wər təššəwəša ya wələt Syon*, əmənokal-nam əddi a din-izayan əddi, iwan əhulel.»
These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him. Inalkiman-net wər əgren arat wa daɣ tizarat, mišan assaɣa wad igraw Ɣaysa adkul-net, əktan-du as Akatab imal aratan win, amaran arat wa imal kul itiwag-as.»
The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record. Tamattay ta təmməgnet assaɣa wa daɣ d-iɣra Ɣaysa Lazarəs daɣ təsaskawt issənkar-t-idu daɣ təmattant, təggəyyat-as.
For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle. Awen da fəl das-du-təssəlkad tiddawat, fəlas əslan as iga alɣalamat ta.
The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him. Təzzar ad tinəmənnin Farisaytan gar-essan: «Toggam-tu? Indar-awan a dər t-in təkkam, har as aytedan kul əlkaman-as.»
And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast: Əllan-tu arat daɣ Kəl Təgərekt əhanen aytedan win d-əggəzzaynen əs Yerusalam y ad əɣbədan daɣ azzaman n əmud.
The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus. Əkkan iyyan daɣ nalkiman ən Ɣaysa igan Filibbus wa n təɣrəmt ən Betsayda ta n akal ən Galilaya, ənnan-as: «Nəgmay daɣ-ak ad nənəy Ɣaysa.»
Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus. Igla Filibbus imal y Andrawəs, dəffər adi iddew Andrawəs əd Filibbus əmalan arat wa i Ɣaysa.
And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. Inn-asan Ɣaysa: «Alwaq ewad-du əmərədda wa daɣ z-igrəw Ag Awedan adkul-net.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. Əggəyyeɣ əsilakanaɣ-awan as tablalt n alkama as wər tərtek daɣ amadal təmmut, ad taglu təmos ɣas-net, mišan as təmmut, ad tag'ara aggen.
He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. I iran iman-net ad t-əgmədan. Amaran awedan wa iksanan iman-net daɣ əddənet ta, wədi wər tu-z-əgmədan kundaba əqqalan-as təməddurt təɣlalat.
If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. Awedan kul wa iran a di-išɣəl, ilkəmet-i, as iga adi edag wa əheɣ ənta a z-iggəz, akf-ay deɣ Abba-nin almaqam.
Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. «Əmərədda əɣšadan man-in. Ma z-anna? Ak ad anna: "Abba safs-i daɣ assaɣat ta? Mišan wər d-ewedaɣ alwaq wa ar fəl a fall-i agu.
Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. Abba, sənnəfiləl təla-nak adkul.» Təzzar igmad-du əməsli ijənnawan inna: «Təla-nin adkul əsinafalalaq-qat, amaran a tat-ələsaɣ əsənnəfiləl.»
The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him. Tamattay ta təllat den, təsla y əməsli wa, a təɣil eggag. Ad əgannin wiyyad: «Angalos das-iššewalan da n əmərədda.»
Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes. Inn-asan Ɣaysa: «Əməsli wa wərgeɣ əddəlil-in a fəl d-iga, kalar əddəlil-nawan kawanay.
Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. Əmərədda ad za tətəwəxkəm əddənet-ta. Əmərədda din z-itəwəgər əmuzar n əddənet ta.
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. Amaran nak as tawasahake fəl amadal əwara təgəttawt, a d-əlwəyaɣ aytedan kul əs man-in.»
This he said, signifying what death he should die. Batu ta isidagan sər-əs esaway was tu-z-iba.
The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man? Tənn-as tamattay: «Nənay daɣ Əttawrit as Əlməsix ad agu təməddurt təɣlalat. Manəmmək amaran as dana-za-tannaɣ Ag Awedan ad itəwəsəhukət fəl amadal? Ma imos Ag Awedan was təgannaɣ əddi?»
Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. Təzzar inn-asan Ɣaysa: «Ənnur harwa da illa ɣur-wan, har agin arat n azzaman, jəwənkətat iket di ad t-illa ənnur fəl a kawan wər əɣdərnat šiyyay, fəlas wa ijawanken daɣ šiyyay, adi wər issen sas idag.
While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them. Iket təlam ənnur, zəgzənat sər-əs fəl ad təqqəlam bararan n ənnur.» As iɣrad Ɣaysa igi ən batu ta, igla ilɣas-asan daɣ adag a iggugan.
But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: Alɣalamaten aggotnen šin iga Ɣaysa dat-san, wər sər-san d ewaynat as sər-əs əzzəgzənan,
That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? fəl ad təkmal batu ta iga ənnəbi Isayas as inna: «Əməli, ma imos wa izzəgzanan s arat wa nəmal? Ma imos was tənafalal tarna n Əməli?»
Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, Əddəlil wa fəl wər əfregan ad əzzəgzanan əntada imal-tu ənnəbi Isayas as inna:
He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. Məššina a tan-isaddarɣalan, issəɣar iwallan-nasan, fəl ad ib-as hannaynat šittawen-nasan, ib-as garrin wallan-nasan, fəl a sər-əs wər mələlləyan izzuzəy-tan.»
These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him. Isayas inna aratan win fəlas inay adkul ən Ɣaysa, amaran immigrad fall-as.
Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: As ig'awen da imuzaran iman-nasan da a daɣ-san aggen əzzigzanan sər-əs, mišan fəl təksəda ən Farisaytan, wər əhelan emel n awen, fəlas wər əren ad təwəkkəsan daɣ təməzgədda-nasan,
For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. amaran əssofan saɣmar wa n aytedan y ədkul wa ihakku Məššina.
Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. Idkal Ɣaysa əməsli-net inna: «Awedan wa sər-i izzəgzanan, wərge nak ɣas as izzəgzan, kalar wa di-d-izammazalan da izzigzan sər-əs.
And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. Amaran wa daɣ-i iswadan, adi wa di-d-izammazalan a daɣ iswad.
I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. Nak zun ənnur a mosa, əkke-du əddənet yas i sər-i izzəgzanan wər z' aqqam daɣ šiyyay.
And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. As isla awedan i batuten-in iqqim wər tanat-ittef, wərge nak a tu-z-awwaddaban, fəlas nak efsan n aytedan a d-əkke s əddənet, wərgeɣ attadib-nasan.
He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. Daɣ adi awedan kul wa di-olkan, iqqim wər iga tembay daɣ batuten-in, wədi illa-tu wa tu-z-awwaddaban. Awal wa da əge da iman-net a das-z-išrəɣan əzəl a ilkaman.
For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. Fəlas batuten-in wərge gər-i əd man-in as tanat-əge, kalar Abba wa di-d-issəglan iman-net as di-omar s arat was ihor ad t-anna, əd was ihor a fall-as ammagrada.
And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak. Əssanaɣ as arat was omar ənta a itawayan əs təməddurt ta təɣlalat. Daɣ adi, arat wa fəl əmməgrada, əmmək wa daɣ as di-t-imal Abba ənta as sər-əs əmməgrada.»
