Vers English: King James Version Tamajaq Portions
There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Osa-ddu Ɣaysa ahad iyyan inn-as: «Əššix-in, nakkanay nəssan as Məššina kay d-izammazalan sər-na, a dana-təsassaɣra, id wər t-illa i z-agin təlməɣjujaten šin təge, ar əs tədhəlt-net.»
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Ɣaysa deɣ inn-as: «Əggəyyeɣ əsilakanaɣ-ak as: Wər t-ill' awedan ifragan anay ən taɣmar ən Məššina ar s ad ilas təhut.
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Issəstan-tu Nikodemos inn-as: «Mas du-z-iləs awedan waššaran təhut? Ši təgat da wər ifreg ad iləs tewaɣlay ən tədist ən mas.»
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Inn-as Ɣaysa: «Əggəyyeɣ əsilakanaɣ-ak as: awedan wər ifreg iguz ən taɣmar ən Məššina ar s ad ihu s aman d Infas wa Zəddigan.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Ələsəl n aggadəm iyyan aggadəm, amaran wa d-igmadan Infas wa Zəddigan, Infas wa Zəddigan a daɣ-as innodan.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. Daɣ adi a dak-wər-iqqən eɣaf as dak-ənneɣ: Iwar-kawan ad tələsam təhut.
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. Adu iggâr sas ira, kay təsalla y əməsli-net, mišan wər təssena sas d-iha wala sas idag. Samal di da a iha wa ihuwan s Infas wa Zəddigan.»
Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? Issəstan-tu Nikodemos inn-as: «Məni tat təməwit tas z-agin aratan win?
Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? Ijjəwwab-as Ɣaysa inn-as: «Təmosaɣ əmusan zəwwəran daɣ Israyil eges wər təssenaɣ aratan win!
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. Əggəyyeɣ əsilakanaɣ-ak as: «Nətamagrad s awa nəssan, nətagayyat da fəl awa nənay, eges tugayam s-ad təqbəlam təgəyya-nana.
If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? Dad wər təzzəgzanam s awa dawan-ganna s əddənet mas za təzzəgzənam awa dawan ganna s alaxirat?
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. Wər t-illa is kala inay ijənnawan, ar Agg Awedan wa tan-d-igmadan.
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: Əmmək was isaddakal Musa aššol ən daroɣ əs təgəttawt daɣ taneray, əmmək di daɣ as z itəwəsədukəl Agg Awedan,
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. fəl ad iqqəl as i sər-əs izzəgzanan, ad igrəw təməddurt ta təɣlalat.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Awalla, Məššina ikna tara n əddənet har as ikfad-du Barar-net a n iyyanda fəl ad iqqəl as i sər-əs izzəgzanan wər z' ihlək, kalar ad igrəw təməddurt ta təɣlalat.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. Məššina wər d-issoka Barar-net əddənet fəl a tat-ihlək kalar issokas-tat-du fəl a sər-əs tafsu.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. I sər-əs izzəgzanan wər ihlek, mišan wa sər-əs wər nəzzəgzan ihlak fəlas wər izzəgzan s esəm ən Barar ən Məššina a n iyyanda.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. Ənta əddi da iguz wa d-iga əhluk: Ənnur osad-du əddənet, mišan aytedan əssofan šiyyay y ənnur id taggin arak mazalan.
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. Amaran i itaggan aɣšud oglaf ənnur, wər t-id-z-akku fəlas iksud ad nəfiləlan arak mazalan-net ezal a mallan.
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Mišan wa itaggan arat wa imosan tidət, itakka-du ənnur, fəl ad itəwənəy, as əmazal-net issind-ay daɣ ləkkum i Məššina.
After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized. Dəffər awen ikka Ɣaysa əd nalkiman-net amadal ən Yahudəya. Iqqim daɣ-as har iga arat n azzaman ənta dər-san, amaran isalmaɣ Ɣaysa aytedan daɣ aman.
And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized. Yaxya ənta da isalmaɣ daɣ aman, daɣ Aynon, dagma ən Salim, fəlas əllan-t' aman aggotnen den. Amaran tasin-t-id' aytedan isalmaq-qan.
For John was not yet cast into prison. Arat wa as itaggu Yaxya harwa da wər iggez kasaw.
Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying. Tənkar təmazaq gər nalkiman ən Yaxya d iyyan daɣ Kəl-Əlyəhud, daɣ batu ən təməwiten šin as itag zazdag.
And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him. Əkkan Yaxya ənnan-as: «Əššik-nana, təkittəwa aləs wa dər təddewa fəl afay ən Yordan wen sen, aləs wədi as dana təmməgrada əddi? Tahannaya! Isalmaɣ aytedan daɣ aman əmərədda amaran kul takkin-tu!»
John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. Ijjəwwab-asan Ɣaysa: «Awedan wər z-igrəw ar awa t-ikfa Məššina.
Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him. Kawanay iman-nawan təggəyyem-i as ənneɣ: "Wər əmosaɣ Əlməsix, mišan tiwazamazala-du dat-əs."
He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. Əmərmuš ənta əddi ilan təmərmušt, mišan əmidi n əmərmušt, mišan əmidi n əmərmuš inkad dagma-net, issisam-as, ikna tədəwit as isla y əməsli-net. Tədəwit di za šin-in, amaran əmərədda tənda.
He must increase, but I must decrease. Ənta a ihoran ad itəwəsəɣmər nak əməla daw-əs.
He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. Wa d-igmadan afalla, ənta a ihhoken fəl awedan kul, wa ihan əddənet i n əddənet. Wa d-igmadan ijənnawan, ihhokat fəl awedan kul,
And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony. Iggəyyat s awa inay d awa as isla mišan waliyyan iqbalan təgəyya-net.
He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. Wa iqbalan təgəyya-net, isilakan awa inna Məššina.
For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. Abba ira Barar-net ig-as aratan kul daɣ əfus.
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. Wa izzəgzanan əs Barar ən Məššina igraw təməddurt təɣlâlat, wa ugayan s a sər-əs izzəgzən amaran alham ən Məššina iha dər-əs isəlsa.»
