Vers English: King James Version Tamajaq Portions
1 When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John, Əslan Farisaytan as itawannu Ɣaysa igarraw inalkiman ogarnen win n Yaxya isalmaq-qan daɣ aman. (Arat wa imosan tidət as Ɣaysa iman-net wər isəlmiɣ awedan waliyyan daɣ aman, inalkiman-net a salmaɣnen daɣ aman.) As isla Ɣaysa y awa itaqqala
2 (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,)
3 He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee.
4 And he must needs go through Samaria. Dad t-ilzam imur n amadal ən Samarəya,
5 Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. os-in dagma ən Šixar, imosan aɣrəm ən Samarəya ihozan tawagost ta ikfa Yaqub i rures Yusəf.
6 Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour. Edag wen ənta a iha əɣarus ən Yaqub. As d-osa Ɣaysa edag wen ammasnazal, iddaz əšikəl, iqqim fəl anu.
7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink. As əkkan nalkiman-net aɣrəm y a dd-azzanzin teṭṭay, təwar-du təntut ən Kəl Samarəya du-təzragat anu en. Inn-as Ɣaysa: «Šašw-i-d'.»
8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. Tənn-as: «Kay təmosaɣ iyyan daɣ Kəl-Əlyəhud təgammaya daɣ-i aman, nak təmosat iyyat daɣ Kəl Samarəya?»
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. Inn-as Ɣaysa: «Ənnar təssanaɣ arat wa ihakku Məššina, amaran təssanaɣ awa əmosa nak wa kam itansayan aman ən tassay, tansiyaɣ-i-tan kam, akfaɣ-am-tan deɣ əmosan win sidurnen.
11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? Tənn-as təntut: «Əššix-in, anu i zagren amaran kay wər təleɣ aga, daɣ adi məni du-za-təgrəwaɣ aman win di sidurnen di?
12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? Šigrat a təgeɣ əmaraw-nana Yaqub a danaɣ-ikfan anu a, išwa aman-net, əšwan-tan maddanəs d aharay-net?»
13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: Ijjəwwab-as Ɣaysa: «I išwan aman di, ad t-iləs fad iguz,
14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. mišan i išwan aman win tu-z-akfa, immizzay əd fad, fəlas a daɣ-as əqqəlan adri ingayan s aman win tu-hakkinen təməddurt ta təɣlalat.»
15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw. Tənn-as təntut: «Akf-i daɣ aman win di, fəl a di-igməd fad, a du wər ələsaɣ azarog n anu a da.»
16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither. «Aglu» Inn-as Ɣaysa «Aɣrad-du aləs-nam təqqəlaɣ-i-du da da.»
17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband: Tənn-as: «Wər əleɣ aləs.» Inn-as Ɣaysa: «Tidət-nam as tənne wər təleɣ aləs,
18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly. fəlas səmmos as kala tan-təle, amaran wa ɣur təlleɣ əmərədda wərgeɣ aləs-nam. Tidət a di-təge.»
19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. Təzzar tənn-as: «Əhannayaɣ as kay ənnəbi a təmosa.
20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. Imarwan-nana adɣaɣ a da a fəl əɣbadan Məššina, mišan kawanay Kəl-Əlyəhud tənnam edag wa daɣ itawaɣbad Məššina wədi iha Yerusalam.»
21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. «Tantut» inn-as Ɣaysa, «Zəgzən-i, alwaq izay-du a daɣ wər za təɣabbadam Abba gər za fəl ədɣaɣ wa, wala daɣ Yerusalam.
22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. Kawanay Kəl Samarəya wa təɣbadam wər tu-təzdayam, nakkanay Kəl-Əlyəhud wa nəɣbad nəzday-tu fəlas efsan iguz wa n Kəl-Əlyəhud a d-əgan.
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. Mišan alwaq izay-du --amaran osa-ddu-- was inaɣbidan win tidət ad əɣbədan Abba s Infas wa Zəddigan əd tidət, fəlas Abba inaɣbidan win t-əɣbadnen əs təməwit ta, əntanay a ira.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Məššina Infas wa Zəddigan a imos, amaran inaɣbidan-net ihor ad t-əɣbədan s Infas wa Zəddigan əd tidət.»
25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Tənn-as təntut: «Əssanaɣ as Əlməsix, itawann-as Kristos, a d-asu. As d-osa a danaɣ-isassagru aratan kul.»
26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he. Inn-as Ɣaysa: «Nak a t-imosan, nak wa dam-iššewalan da.»
27 And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her? Assaɣat ten ənta a d-əqqalan nalkiman, iqqan-asan eɣaf iməšawal wa iga əd təntut. Mišan wər tan-iha i ihalan ad t-issəstən, ann-as: «Ma daɣ as tare?» madeɣ «Mafel tətiməšiwila dər-əs?»
28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, Təzzar toya-ddu təntut tətəkint-net təqqal aɣrəm tənna y aytedan:
29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? «Ayewat ad tənəyam awedan a di-imâlan arat kul was kala ad t-əge, ifrâg as ənta a imosan Əlməsix!»
30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him. Təzzar əgmadan-du aɣrəm əkkan Ɣaysa.
31 In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat. As itagg' awen inalkiman gammayan daɣ Ɣaysa ad atšu, gannan-as: «Əššix, atš' arat iyyan.»
32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. Inn-asan: «Imensewan win z atša wər tan-təzdayam.»
33 Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? Ad tənəmənnin nalkiman gar-essan: «Əngəm ɣas wərgeɣ awedan a das-d-ewayan imensewan?»
34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. Kawanay wər təgənnim: "Əqqimnat-in əkkozat təlil y ad tagu ɣarat?" Mišan nak ənneɣ-awan əswədat wəllen daɣ təwəgas ad tənəyam šiɣaɣanen əŋŋanat, wər ərenat ar əmiləy.
36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. Awedan wa italayan, wədi igraw ərruzmatan-net, išadaw šiɣaɣanen šin təməddurt ta təɣlalat. A di da a fəlas wa inabbalan əd wa italayan, ketnasan əddəwen.
37 And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. Fəlas tidət ən təmajəq ta təgannat: "Aləs iyyan inabbal, iyyan italay."
38 I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours. Əssəglaq-qawan fəl ad taləyam tawagost daɣ wər təšɣelam, aytedan wiyyad a daɣ-as əšɣalnen, mišan təgrawam tənfa daɣ əššəɣəl wa əgan da.»
39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did. Aytedan aggotnen ən Kəl Samarəya əzzəgzanan əs Ɣaysa fəlas tantut a dasan-tənnat: «Imal-i aratan win as kala tan-əge.»
40 So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days. A di da a fəlas as t-id-osan əgmayan daɣ-as a ɣur-san aqqam, təzzar iqqim ɣur-san Ɣaysa har iga əššin adan.
41 And many more believed because of his own word; Wiyyad aggotnen əzzəgzanan sər-əs fəl as əslan y awal-net ənta iman-net.
42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world. Təzzar ənnan i təntut: «Nakkanay səket nəkna əzəgzan fəlas əstizarat kam ɣas a danaɣ-igan isalan, əmərədda iman-nana as das-nəsla, amaran nəssân as tidət as ənta a imosan Ənəssefsi n əddənet.
43 Now after two days he departed thence, and went into Galilee. Dəffər əššin adan win di, ikka Ɣaysa amadal ən Galilaya,
44 For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country. fəlas ənta iman-net as inna, ənnəbi wər itəwəsəɣmir daɣ akal-net.
45 Then when he was come into Galilee, the Galilaeans received him, having seen all the things that he did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast. As din-osa Galilaya əqbalan-tu Kəl Galilaya id ənâyan imazalan kul win iga daɣ Yerusalam ɣur əmud wa n Akkay fəlas əntanay da osân-t-in.
46 So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum. Ilas-du assa ən Kana ta n Galilaya, ta daɣ isammattay aman ig-en esmad. Aɣrəm ən Kafarnahum ih-ay aləs imosan amaššaɣal n əmənokal. Aləs wen ila rures irinan.
47 When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death. As isla as Ɣaysa igmâd-du amadal ən Yahudəya iha Galilaya, os-ay-du onsay-tu ad idawan, das-izzuzəy rures ɣur təlla təmattant.
48 Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe. Inn-as Ɣaysa: «As wərgeɣ ad tənayam təlməɣjujaten, d alɣalamaten əmmittaynen, wər za təzzəgzənam fadda.»
49 The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die. Inn-as amaššaɣal n əmənokal: «Məšš-i, ərəs-anaɣ əs Kafarnahum harwa ad wər aba barar-in.»
50 Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way. Inn-as Ɣaysa: «Aglu, rurek izzay.» Aləs deɣ izzəgzan s awal ən Ɣaysa, igla.
51 And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth. Iha tarrayt iqqâl as immənay əd maššaɣalan-net das-d-əlkamnen. Ənnan-as: «Bara-nak izzay.»
52 Then inquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him. Issəstan-tan inn-asan: «Ma imos alwaq wa daɣ igraw iman-net?» Ənnan-as: «Əndazəl iggi ən tazzar a fall-as təwat tanaday.»
53 So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house. Aləs deɣ ikta-ddu as alwaq wen da iman-net ɣur das-inna Ɣaysa: «Rurek izzay.» Izzəgzan sər-əs ənta d aɣaywan-net kul.
54 This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judaea into Galilee.
