| 34 | And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. | 40 | Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation. | Dul kadınların malını mülkünü sömüren, gösteriş için uzun uzun dua eden bu kişilerin cezası daha ağır olacaktır.›› |
| 41 | And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. | İsa tapınakta bağış toplanan yerin karşısında oturmuş, kutulara para atan halkı seyrediyordu. Birçok zengin kişi kutuya bol para attı. |
