Vers English: King James Version Uma NT †
In those days the multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples unto him, and saith unto them, Uma mahae ngkai ree, wori' wo'o-mi tauna morumpu dohe Yesus. Apa' uma-hawo ria pongkoni' -ra, nakio' -ra ana'guru-na pai' na'uli' -raka:
I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with me three days, and have nothing to eat: "Tuna-kuna nono-ku mpohilo tauna to wori' toera lau. Tolu eo-ramo dohe-ku, uma ria pongkoni' -ra.
And if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint by the way: for divers of them came from far. Hiaa' ane kuhubui-ra nculii' hilou hi tomi-ra ntali oro' -ra, meka' molinga' -ra mpai' hi ohea. Apa' ria-ra to ngkai kalaa-na."
And his disciples answered him, From whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness? Ra'uli' ana'guru-na: "Ngkaiapa-tana mpai' tarata pongkoni' tapokoni' -raka, bo wao' -hana hi rehe'i lau?"
And he asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven. Napekune' -ra: "Hangkuja roti to ria hi koi' -e?" Ra'uli' -ki: "Pitu meha'."
And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people. Ngkai ree, nahubui-ramo tauna to wori' mohura hi tana'. Na'ala' -mi roti pai' -i mpo'uli' tarima kasi hi Alata'ala. Oti toe, napihe-pihe-mi pai' nawai' -raka ana'guru-na mpobagi-bagi-raka tauna to wori'.
And they had a few small fishes: and he blessed, and commanded to set them also before them. Ria wo'o-raka bau' uru to kedi' ba hangkuja ma'a. Naposampayai wo'o pai' nahubui ana'guru-na mpobagi hi ntodea.
So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets.
And they that had eaten were about four thousand: and he sent them away. Ngkoni' -ramo duu' -ra bohu. Kawori' -ra to ngkoni' nto'u toe, ba opo' ncobu. Ka'oti-ra ngkoni', rarumpu-mi toro-na, pitu luncu-pi. Oti toe, Yesus mpohubui-ra nculii' hilou hi tomi-ra,

And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation. Kana'epe-na Yesus lolita-ra, na'osu' -mi inoha' -na pai' na'uli': "Napa-di pai' tauna to tuwu' tempo toi merapi' tanda mekoncehi-e? Uma-a dota! Mpu'u ku'uli' -kokoi: uma-koi kupopohiloi tanda mekoncehi hewa to niperapi'."
And he left them, and entering into the ship again departed to the other side. Kanapalahii-rami, mehawi' -imi hi sakaya hilou hi dipo rano.
Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, neither had they in the ship with them more than one loaf. Hi pomako' -ra tohe'e, ana'guru-na Yesus uma mpokiwoi ngkeni boku, muntu' hameha' roti to ria hi rala sakaya.
And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod. Yesus mpololitai-ra hante hanyala walatu, na'uli': "Pelompehi-koi, mo'inga' -inga' hi ragi-ra to Parisi pai' ragi Magau' Herodes!"
And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have no bread. Aga uma ra'incai batua-na walatu toe, helee momepololitai moto-ramo, ra'uli': "Pai' na'uli' hewa toe-le, apa' uma ria roti-ta."
And when Jesus knew it, he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?
Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember? 23 And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. Yesus mpokamu pale-na, pai' natete' -i hilou hi mali bola'. Na'uelikui mata-na pai' naganga. Oti toe, napekune' -i: "Ria to nuhilo ba napa-napa?"
And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. Towero toe menaa-naa pai' na'uli': "Kuhilo tauna, mokao' hewa kaju to mako' hilou tumai."
After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. Oti toe, naganga tena mata-na, pai' nahubui-i menaa. Mo'uri' mpu'u-miki mata-na. Hawe'ea to nahilo, monoto-mi.
And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town. Oti toe, Yesus mpohubui-i nculii' hilou hi tomi-na, na'uli' -ki: "Nculii' -moko hilou hi tomi-nu, aga neo' -ko mesua' hi rala ngata mpo'uli' -raka pue' ngata napa to jadi' toi."
And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am? Yesus hante ana'guru-na hilou hi ngata to mohu' Kaisarea Filipi. Hi lengko ohea, napekune' -ra, na'uli': "Ntuku' ponguli' ntodea, hema-a Aku' toi-e?"
And they answered, John the Baptist: but some say, Elias; and others, One of the prophets. Ra'uli' -ki: "Ria to mpo'uli' Yohanes Topeniu' -ko tuwu' nculii'. Ria wo'o to mpo'uli' nabi Elia-ko. Ria wo'o-ra to mpo'uli' Iko hadua nabi to owi tuwu' nculii'."
And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ. Napekune' tena-ra, na'uli': "Hiaa' koi' -koiwo mpo'uli' hema-a Aku' toi-e?" Natompoi' Petrus: "Iko-mi Magau' Topetolo'!"
And he charged them that they should tell no man of him. Ngkai ree, Yesus mpo'uli' -raka: "Neo' ulu ni'uli' hi hema-hema ka'Aku' -na Magau' Topetolo'."
And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. Oti toe, natepu'u-mi Yesus mpotudui' ana'guru-na napa to kana jadi' hi woto-na. Na'uli' -raka: "Aku' Ana' Manusia' kana mporata wori' kaparia. 33 But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men. Yesus me'ili' pai' mponaa ana'guru-na, pai' -i ngkaroe Petrus, na'uli' -ki: "Palai-ko topesori! Pekiri-nu tetu-le pekiri manusia', bela pekiri Alata'ala."
And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
